September 3, 2020 – Jude 1:24-25

But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.  Jude 20-23.

Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to teach and guide us.  In so doing, He provides a way for our faith to grow in Him.  The Love of God is stronger than hate or anger. From Love comes Mercy and Kindness of Jesus Christ, who gave His Life as a sacrifice for our sins and purify us.

Jude 1:24-25 is a Doxology to our Lord Jesus… an affirmation of our faith in Him into Life Eternal.  I often heard my Mother sing, “Praise God from whom all blessing flow...”

Oh, Great Jehovah God, keep me from falling into sin through Jesus Christ our Lord. May Your Presence of Glory go with me each day. Help me to love others and show kindness and mercy, even as You teach me. I pray in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High. Psalm 7:17.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord,
and He will give you the desires of your heart.  Psalm 37:3-4

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 24-25.
