August 25, 2020 – Psalm 77:1-3

I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, and He will hear me. In the day of my trouble, I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted. When I remember God, I moan; when I meditate, my spirit faints. Psalm 77:1-3.

This world is filled with chaos and lies. So many ways to fill our time without you.  I stretch out my hand to You.  My heart longs for your Truth and Love, and then I read these words: Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Matthew 11:28.

Faith in You, O Lord, is a beginning of experiencing your Love and Strength. And I remember, Now faith is the assurance of things hope for, the conviction of things not seen.  Hebrews 11:1.  The heroes of faith teach us how to believe and trust God.  Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, to Joseph, Noah, and Moses, and more!

Our Father in Heaven, strengthen our faith in You.  Teach us how to be obedient and live for You.  Teach me to love others as You love me. Give me hope in You as You lead me in Your Holy Way.  In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

And I sin: God of wonders, beyond our galaxy, You are holy, holy, The universe declares Your majesty
You are holy, holy. Hallelujah to the Lord of Heaven and earth.  (Byrd/Hindalong)

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; You have made known your might among the peoples. Psalm 77:11-14.
