August 7, 2020 – Ephesians 6:16-18

In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, spraying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. Ephesians 6:16-18.

We may fail, but God will never fail.  When we abide in Him and trust Him. He will deliver us from Evil.  When the Children of Israel thought they would die in the wilderness, Moses trusted and believed.  

And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.  The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”  Exodus 14:13-14.  

What are our weapons? The Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit – the Word of God.  The Grace of God will guide us and lead us through the heartaches and terrors of this world.

Dearest Father of Love and Peace,  We bow down before you in love and faith.  Only You can bring Your Peace to my Heart, as I trust in You and You alone.  Oh, Lord, keep my love for You and others pure. Forgive my sins against you, as I forgive others who sin against me. I pray in the Name of Jesus!  Amen.
