July 28, 2020 – Psalm 84:3-4
Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise! Psalm 84:3-4.
Every bird and animal searches for a home where they find comfort and safety. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:31-32. These are the words of Jesus.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live. Ecclesiastes 3:11-12.
Have you ever wondered why you love being outside? God created everything that makes us wonder and brings peace to our hearts. His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. Gabriel
Our Lord God in Heaven, May my heart find your joy and peace in You. I would rather live in the Light of Your Righteousness, than the darkness of evil. You are my shield. Help me to walk in your strength. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord.
Psalm 84:1-2a
For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:10-11.
