May 1, 2020 – Psalm 8:1-2
O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babies and infants, You have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger. Psalm 8:1-2.
Our Lord God is magnificent and awesome. He has no equal. To use mere words to describe The God who made everything in the beginning on the earth and in the universe is futile.
Every where on earth we witness The Wonder of His Works. His glory is above the Heavens is visible through His Creation of Light and Life. He is without sin. The first thing I learned about God? God is Love. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. I John 4:8.
Does the Lord hate anything? Proverbs 6:16-19 names seven things that places a barrier between enjoying God’s glory and our hearts. To see the moon and the stars He put in place is the essence of beauty. I wonder how He can love us.
The Lord God sent Jesus to be our sacrifice for our sin, that we may be redeemed and live with Him for an eternity. It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to Your Name, O Most High; to declare Your steadfast love in the morning, and Your faithfulness by night. Psalm 92:1-2.
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your Name in all the earth! Psalm 8:3-5, 9.
