March 18, 2016 – I Peter 1:2

May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. I Peter 1:2Are you thirsty to know more about Jesus?  When we live in a desert-world without Him, we are like the woman at the well Jesus encountered. Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again,  but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”  John 4:13-14Knowing more of God and His Love is what King David wanted –How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!  Psalm 119:103.  How we tire of living in a world of lies and corruption, we long to know peace.  We hunger and thirst for righteousness that is only promised through the gift of Grace through Jesus.If we want to share in His precious promises, His Gift of Love, we drink of the Living Water we read in His Word.  Have you opened His Gift of Love and Peace?  This gift gives us joy and celebration.  This gift contains the strength for self-control and the desire for patience.  This gift to us runs over with goodness, kindness and gentleness. There is no other way to abundant joy, love and peace except through Jesus, our Lord and Savior.  Do you know Him?  Has He changed your heart?  He stands at the door of your heart, waiting for you to open and receive Him.
