January 24, 2020 – Psalm 40:4-5

Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie! You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told. Psalm 40:4-5.

How joyful we are when we trust God and His Way. It is when we try to hide our thoughts and hide our actions from Him, we will feel anxious and dissatisfied.  The world cannot provide happiness and the sense of belonging.  For, Who can compare with our Lord?

The One who created the Heavens and Earth, His thoughts are not our thoughts. How often we worship His Creation.  The stars, the skies, the beauty of the high mountains and the vast seas.  The beauty of creation is our new song, and we cannot be silent.  Our new song of Praising God will never end.

“Great is the Lord!” I continually seek our Lord, and love His salvation.  For understanding how this Great God loves me and thinks of me.  He is my help and my deliverer in every moment.  Who is first in my heart? The Lord and my King.  He rescues me from the evil ones.  My prayer is for Your strong love and truth to watch over me.

For You are my rock and my fortress; and for Your name’s sake You lead me and guide me. Psalm 31:3.

But may all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; may those who love Your salvation say continually, “Great is the Lord!” As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God! Psalm 40:16-17.
