January 25, 2016 – Psalm 65:8

Psalm65-8The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy. Psalm 65:8For those who search – Seek and you shall findMany, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.  Psalm 40:5.Each morning when I wake, you draw me into giving thanks for the wonders you have given us.  Many we can see and many we cannot see.  We can see the internal wonder of believing and trusting You, and knowing You love us and lead us.  These wonders bring awe into our lives. Those things we see become the awe of living with Jesus.  We know without a doubt Who loves us so much that He died on the cross to forgive our sins of those.  Jesus rose on the third day to return to His Father in Heaven.  We love Him because He first loved us.His power to create and His love for us, also His creation of us, are beyond anything that is humanly possible.  Yes, Jesus is my Lord and Master.  My first thought in the morning and when I go to sleep is of the Greatness and Joy and Peace that Jesus brings.  The pains and pangs of the frailty of life can bring either Trust or a spiraling down of hopelessness.  When we choose to trust Jesus, He brings Peace of mind, fear is gone, for He is Able.  We have the evidence all around us of towering mountains and endless roaring waves and the turmoil of the people of nations.Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.  Psalm 105:4You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas, who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength, who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations. Psalm 65:5-7
