November 26, 2019 – I Corinthians 13:8-10
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with. For we know in part and we prophesy in part; but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with. I Corinthians 13:8-10.
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night. Psalm 92:1-2. The power of God’s Love never takes a vacation. Morning and night, and all through the day, we are reminded of God’s Love. Jesus gave us the two greatest commandments in Matthew 22:37-39. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
There are no exceptions to this great love. We learn to love with a trusting faith in God and His Son, Jesus. Living in His Love brings us Hope. Prophecies, languages, and knowledge will pass away. Faith, Hope and Love will remain. And we sing, Oh, how I love Jesus, because He first loved me.
For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in your faithfulness. Psalm 26:3.
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known. But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love. I Corinthians 13:11-13.
