October 18, 2019 – Psalm 134:1-3
Come, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who stand by night in the house of the Lord! Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the Lord! Psalm 134:1-3.
This glorious morning, the sky dawns a golden hue. Reminding me of the blessedness of each glory the Lord our God has created. For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:16
God is about redemption and second chances. It is when we pursue righteousness in our thoughts and actions in this life, we begin to understand our Lord and God. For You are great and do wondrous things; You alone are God. Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name. Psalm 86: 10-11. It is God who sent His Son Jesus to be the sacrifice for our sins; And God raised His Son from the grave on the third day.
Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great! You are clothed with splendor and majesty, covering Yourself with light as with a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent. Psalm 104:1-2. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12.
For I know that the Lord is great and that our Lord is above all gods. Whatever the Lord pleases, He does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps. He it is, who makes the clouds rise at the end of the earth, who makes lightnings for the rain and brings forth the wind from His storehouses. Psalm 135:5-7.
