October 2, 2019 – Psalm 119:34-36

Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart. Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it. Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to selfish gain! Psalm 119:34-36.

Following, You, dear Lord, down the Path of Understanding gives me delight. You place before me the wondrous colors of each season of learning your law of Love.

Shape my heart to hear Your blessedness through thankfulness to listen to Your Heart of Love.  Erase the selfishness within me.  Help me to love others as You love.  I long for your Ways each day of my life.  For your way draws me ever closer each day to new discoveries of the true blessings of life.  

Your righteousness gives me a joyous life filled with the Light of the Lord God.  Then Jesus came to bring us salvation. When Jesus comes the tears are wiped away. He takes the gloom and fills the life with glory, For all is changed when Jesus comes to stay.  (George B. Shea).

God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:4. Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  John 8:12.  It is when we belong to Jesus, we walk in the light and we walk as Children of Light.  We will show the fruit of the spirit, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, and Self-Control.  (Galatians 5:22-23).

Keep steady my steps according to your promise,and let no iniquity get dominion over me. Psalm 119:133.

Behold, I long for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life! Let your steadfast love come to me, O Lord, your salvation according to your promise. Psalm 119:40-41.
