September 13, 2019 – Psalm 71:17-18
May His name endure forever, His fame continue as long as the sun! May people be blessed in Him, all nations call Him blessed! Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. Psalm 71:17-18.
Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory! Psalm 24:7-10.
Our Lord God has many names – Elohim – The God; Yahweh, Lord Jehovah; Adoni – Lord, Master; Yahweh Rapha – The Lord Who Heals; El Shaddai is The Lord God Almighty. and El Roi – The God Who Sees Me. There are more Names for the One God who loves us.
Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:13-14. We have but one name, and when we become His, we belong to the Great I Am and He becomes our inheritance for an eternity. He sees us and knows our needs on this earth in every moment.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Selah Our God is a God of salvation, and to God, the Lord, belong deliverances from death. Psalm 68:19-20
Blessed be His glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen! Psalm 71:19.
