September 9, 2019 – Psalm 66:1-4

Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise! Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you. All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name.” Selah. Psalm 66:1-4.

How often do we sing of His Glory, when we think of God and His faithful love and forgiveness?  One version uses the word, ‘erupt’ for sing.  Indeed!  We can’t help singing when we consider His awesome  deeds and His love for all of us.

God created all things, including us. and the uniqueness of each creation holds our attention.  The stars He placed in the sky to the tiny butterfly flitting from flower to flower, to the hovering humming bird hold our attention.  Why do scientists never find an end to studying the things God created?  All creation sing praises to God.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LordFor as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways  and my thoughts than your thoughts.  Isaiah 55:8-9.  God wrote the Book on Creation.

Our Lord God provides a way through the most difficult circumstances for those who worship Him.  God longs to Redeem and Restore His Children, He created.  God told Moses to “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.”

Come and see what God has done: He is awesome in His deeds toward the children of man. He turned the sea into dry land; they pass who rules by His might forever, whose eyes keep watch on the nations. let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Psalm 66:5-7
