July 24, 2019 – Psalm 34:1-3

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together! Psalm 34:1-3.

When the day is jam-packed with ‘have-to’s’, it is time to bless the Lord and praise Him.  The more stress we deal with, the more we lift His Name in Praise.

When Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den, when David faced Goliath with three small stones, when Peter denied Christ three times, and when the Israelites faced certain death on the shore of the Red Sea, what was the answer?  That is when we seek the Lord.

The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. Psalm 14:2.   May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You! May those who love Your salvation say evermore, “God is great!” Psalm 70:4.

 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.  James 4:10. Wait for the Lord;
 be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:14.

The Lord is righteous in all his ways  and kind in all his works. The Lord is near to all who call on Him,  to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him;
 He also hears their cry and saves them. Psalm 145:17-19.

Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your Name; deliver us, and atone for our sins,  for Your Name’s sake!  Psalm 79:8.

I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. Psalm 34:4-5.
