June 24, 2019 – Psalm 100:1-3

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are his; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:1-3.

It is the knowing beyond all understanding that our Lord IS the One who made us and we are totally His that counts. The Amazing Love and Forgiveness He offers is beyond our comprehension. 

All we can do is Serve the Lord with Gladness.  He is our Joy and gives the joy and the melody of every song we sing. While a teenager, I loved singing the chorus, “It’s bubbling, it’s bubbling, in my soul. there’s singing and laughing since Jesus made me whole. Folks don’t understand it, How can I keep it quiet? It’s bubbling, bubbling day and night.”

When we Serve the Lord with Gladness, we proclaim His Lordship for He is our shepherd and we are his sheep. Is it any wonder Psalm 23 is balm to our souls. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want!

There is no end to our Lord’s Love, for His steadfast love endures forever. His faithfulness lasts from generation to generation when we give Him thanks and bless His Name by our joyous response to His teaching! Our Lord’s Son has no end.

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being. May my meditation be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the Lord. Psalm 104:33-34.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name! For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 100:4-5.
