October 9, 2015 – Job 38:13-14

Job38-13-14Have you made daylight spread to the ends of the earth, to bring an end to the night’s wickedness? As the light approaches, the earth takes shape like clay pressed beneath a seal; it is robed in brilliant colors.  Job 38:13-14Have you ever pondered the joy of light?  When I was 10 or eleven years old, I would see my Mom in the early morning in the kitchen.  It seemed dark, and I always turned on the light.  Still wanting to illumine my world without realizing that each sunrise is a reflection and a taste of the glory of our  Lord God.  Every loving and kind thought and word is a ‘sunrise‘ in someone else’s heart. When there is no darkness in our lives — no anger, chaos, hate or impatience in words or deeds our lives in the name of Jesus, we become a light to our Lord to others. Our Almighty God, our Majestic Lord, the One who creates each of us and loves us even before we are born.  Only He can speak with authority on Truth.  Only He gives us Hope and Life.  Only through His Son Jesus do we have Peace and Joy, no matter what.Listen for the new song the morning stars sang just before sunrise.  Listen for the shouts of joy from all the angels and join them in proclaiming God’s goodness! This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line? What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstone as the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?
