May 14, 2019 – Psalm 27:4
The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most—is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. Psalm 27:4.
No matter how many threats face us, God’s Realities triumph. It is when I think more about God’s faithfulness than I think of man’s failings, I am blessed. When I give thanks and delight in God’s works in nature and the heart of man instead of the work of man, I celebrate Joy in Him.
Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; celebrate His lovely name with music. Psalm 135:3. There is no Other as great as our majestic Lord. He lifts us up from the deepest despair to the heights of gratefulness. How can I say thank for the things You have done for me? Things so undeserved yet You gave to prove Your love for me. (Andre Crouch).
Praise the Lord, for He has shown me the wonders of His unfailing love. He kept me safe when my city was under attack. In panic I cried out, “I am cut off from the Lord!” But you heard my cry for mercy and answered my call for help. Psalm 31:21-22.
Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into His heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18.
For He will conceal me there when troubles come; He will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. Then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me. At His sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the Lord with music. Psalm 27:5-6
