May 9, 2019 – Ephesians 5:15-19
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart. Ephesians 5:15-19.
Where does the ability to walk wisely come from? If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. James 1:5. Make the best use of time and know the will of God. The World tells us we need time to ‘get away’ for ‘me’ time. The World gives us permission to complain finding ways to escape the life God gives us.
We walk in two worlds. It is through Jesus we Live in Heaven and walk in this temporary World. Jesus gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit, and we address others in Psalms and Songs making melody of adoration to the Lord. We give thanks always to God in the name of Jesus. We submit to one another in His Name.
Living in this way, we are in the world, but are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the Heavenly Places. Our spiritual blessings come through the spiritual gifts from Jesus Christ. We are chosen before the foundation of the world to be blameless. God predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ.
I give thanks to God, in the name of Jesus, for the wonder of His Great Love.
…giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Ephesians 5:20-21.
