April 16, 2019 – Psalm 77:11-13

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? Psalm 77:11-13.

The beginning of the Wonder of God is recorded in Genesis 1:1-2. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.  Each verse reminds me of why I delight in Him who gives me breath to praise Him continually.

Each story of those who conquer evil and see His righteousness brings joy and excellent praise to the those who love Him. Let all the earth fear the Lord;  let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him!  Psalm 33:8.

All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.  John 1:3-5.  Jesus said, I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.  I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. John 10:10b-11.

Let those who delight in my righteousness shout for joy and be glad and say evermore, “Great is the Lord, who delights in the welfare of his servant!”  Psalm 35:27.

But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, “Great is the Lord!”  Psalm 40:16.  May this be our song and our prayer this day.

You are the God who works wonders; You have made known Your might among the peoples. Psalm 77:14.
