March 26, 2019 – Psalm 119:68-69
You are good and do only good; teach me Your decrees. Arrogant people smear me with lies, but in truth I obey Your commandments with all my heart. Psalm 119:68-69.
Your promise still stands, Great is your faithfulness, I’m still in Your Hands. This is my confidence – You have never failed me yet! (Lyrics from Do It Again).
This morning, as I rise, I know, because You Are…and will do it again! The moon and stars testify to your faithfulness. I am never alone, for your Truth gives me confidence, for God does not lie. (from Titus 1:2).
Even as David cried out as he hid in the cave from King Saul, hide me in your protection. Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy! I look to you for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until the danger passes by. Psalm 57:1.
Yes, unite me with my brothers and sister who trust in You, and follow the decrees and you have given us to live by. Strengthen our desire to follow only You. Teach us to love one another even as we remember all the great wonders You, O Lord, have done for us.
You, O Lord, sent your only Son, to be our sacrifice and doorway to your Holy Presence. “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.” Revelation 3:20-21.
Let me be united with all who fear You, with those who know Your laws. May I be blameless in keeping Your decrees; then I will never be ashamed. Psalm 119:79-80.
