February 7, 2019 – Ephesians 3:18-19

And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.  Ephesians 3: 18-19.

Have you ever measured off the length, width, and height of the Ark?  (450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high.  Genesis 6:15.)  Or measured the length, width, and height of the temple Solomon built for the Lord? (90 feet long, 30 feet wide, and 45 feet high.).

When you measure these, you are amazed.  And yet, how far is the sun, God created, from the earth?  This number is difficult to imagine.  93,000,000 miles away.  It takes 8 minutes for light from the sun to travel to the earth at 186 miles a second to reach us.

Our Lord God’s love is so great, it cannot be measured or conceived, we can only experience a tiny portion of His Love.  God loves beyond comprehension, He forgives our many sins of disobedience and un-lovely thoughts, words, and actions.  He sent His Only Son to show us the way to God’s great love.

Allow His mighty power work within us.  Man tries to fashion a hero to emulate.  Yet, it is Our God is more than able to accomplish the impossible in this world, He created with a Word.  He was and is, and will always be when our life is finished.

Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3 20-21.
