January 17, 2019 – Psalm 18:30-31
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God, except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? Psalm 18:30-31.
There is no one perfect and true – and that is our God. Man’s perfection on earth cannot measure to God’s standards of His Way. He is our Lord and we look to Him for protection. If we choose someone other than God Himself to be like, to emulate, we will soon learn their weaknesses.
No mythical creature, created by man, can be like God. You taught me how to walk with care so my feet will not slip. Psalm 18:36.
Trusting God’s Way in this world prepares us for every battle we face. His Love for each of us, draws us together in compassion and kindness. We understand our enemies are not each other, but The Evil One.
Oh, that, we know God as King David knew Him – and sing His Song with him! He led me to a place of safety; He rescued me because He delights in me. The Lord rewarded me for doing right; He restored me because of my innocence. For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I have not turned from my God to follow evil. I have followed all His regulations; I have never abandoned his decrees. Psalm 18:19-22.
God arms me with strength, and He makes my way perfect. He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights. He trains my hands for battle; He strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow. Psalm 18:32-34.
