Hebrews12-12-13So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees. Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong. Hebrews 12:12-13How long, O Lord?  That is our cry when things become so heavy and hard to bear on this earth.  Here is our battle cry from the God’s Word.  When the storms rage around us, we turn to God in prayer.  And here it is.  Those parts of us that weaken — tired hands, weakened knees and feet that follow a crooked path — fail us when we need strength.  Only through the Grace of God and prayer can we continue in our walk further with Jesus than we ever thought possible. When we falter, we can be sure that we have One who cares and will lift us up — and forgive us for doubting.   And what can we do?  How can we find new energy and purpose?  How can we strengthen our serving hands and feet?  How can we find God’s path?We look around and see where we are.  God has led us to this place.  We open our eyes and see, really SEE the LORD and His leading.  We learn to love as Jesus loves.  We work, really labor, at living in peace with everyone.  Even though we meet someone with the grumpies or who has the gift of constant criticism, we shall live in peace.  We refuse bitterness in our hearts for it grows like a vine that trumpets corruption. There is a relative quotient of measurement of peace and love.  One supports the other.  If we want peace we must love.  If we love unconditionally, we will have peace in our hearts.Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many. Hebrews 12:14-15
