September 17, 2018 – Psalm 19:17-18
Be good to your servant, that I may live and obey your word. Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions. Psalm 119:17-18.
Help me to see with spiritual eyes Your truth all around me! Help me listen to the cries for help. Give me the strength and wisdom to provide comfort and encouragement to your children.
Help me walk along life’s path with the understanding of Who You are. Give me compassion for the hurting and lost. Teach me the decrees of your heart to follow and obey You above all.
Help me to see the Awe and Joy of following You. Help me to know from the inside out, the great I Am of Your Heart gives me the understanding that I am who God says I am.
I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. I will delight in your decrees and not forget your word. Verses 11 and 16.
So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. I Peter 1:6-7
Teach me your decrees, O Lord; I will keep them to the end. Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions; I will put them into practice with all my heart. Make me walk along the path of your commands, for that is where my happiness is found. Psalm 119:33-35.
