September 12, 2018 – Colossians 3:14-16

But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:14-16.

Three things to remember in all of life! Love/Peace/Thankfulness.  These three things hold a family together and a large group of people.  Love does not live alone.  Peace cannot exist without love. Thankfulness cannot stand without Love and Peace.

I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”  John 14:27.    So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. John 13:34.  Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. I Thessalonians  5:18.

Peace, not criticism. Love one another, not hate.  Thankfulness, and not complaints.  Let the Word live in and through us.  May everything each day remind us of the Word of God and hymns of praise.  No matter what we do and say, may it be done in the Name of Jesus.

“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45.

May this be my prayer today and all the days of my life.  May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17.
