July 27, 2018 – Jude 1:24

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. Jude 1:24.

What is this glory of God? Is it something we can touch, see, or hear?  Where does God’s Glory come from? The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders. The Lord thunders over the mighty sea.  Psalm 29:3. 

Shortly before the death of Jesus on the cross, He told His disciples, Jesus said, “The time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory, and God will be glorified because of Him. And since God receives glory because of the Son, He will give his own glory to the Son, and He will do so at once.”  John 13:31-32. 

Jesus answered, “If I want glory for myself, it doesn’t count. But it is my Father who will glorify me.” John 8:54. Why is it important to give all we do to God’s Glory?  The last verse below describes our Father, God. When we say in a lifetime, we do not consider God’s glory, majesty, power, and authority are Before all time, In the present, and Beyond all time. How have we learned the extent of God’s Glory?  Through Jesus Christ our Lord!

How many times do we consider God’s glory as we live our daily lives?   So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.  I Corinthians 10:31.  Isaiah 42:12, points the way – Let the whole world glorify the Lord; let it sing His praise.

All glory to Him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are His before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen. Jude 1:25.
