April 30, 2015 – Psalm 27:13-14

I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! Psalm 27:13-14And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”  Mark 9:23-24.  As the father of the child with the demon-possessed child cried…’I believe; help my unbelief!’, we too, ask God, “Help my unbelief!”, when the world presses in on us.  Things out of our control….are always in God’s control.Be Strong!  Wait!  Have a heart filled with courage, for when we believe, we shall look upon the goodness of our Lord.The choice to believe leads to faith in Jesus Christ.  Through Jesus Christ we are saved.  No learned words, a mountain high, can save us from the darkness that surrounds us.   No man or man-made organization can save us.  Simply, Jesus saves when we believe in Him and live for Him.  Jesus is the Word by which we are saved.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.  In him was life, and the life was the light of men.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:1-5…yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. Galatians 2:16
