March 23, 2015 – John 11:25

John11-25Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; John 11:25I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’  Genesis 17:1  God the Father, Jesus the Son.  God told us who He is.  Jesus the Son builds bridges for us with who is.  I am the life, the truth and the way — I am the resurrection.  Jesus is the bridge to God the Father by the way of the cross. There is no procrastination….Now is the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory.  He was going Glory Home! Although He is still teaching, can you feel his excitement of finishing his work?  Can you imagine the Glory Jesus calls home?  He lived the truth He taught.  A kernel of wheat is planted, dies, remains alone and yet its death produces many new kernels, a plentiful harvest of new lives. Now is the time to come to Jesus.  If this life is all we have, we try to hold on to it with all our might and resources.  If we care nothing for this life, for we know that we, too, will one day enter into and share with Jesus the Glory Home. The lyrics to “Goin’ Home” fills my mind and heart.  Goin’ home, goin’ homeI am goin’ home, Quiet like, some still day, I am goin’ home. It’s not far, just close by, Through an open door, Work all done, care laid byNever fear no more, Mother’s there expecting me, Father’s waiting tooLots of faces gathered there, All the friends I know, I’m just goin’ home.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BunbeRED5YJesus replied, “Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives. Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. John 12: 23-25
