October 23, 2017 – I Corinthians 2:9-10

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. I Corinthians 2:9-10.

The World’s Quest is to search for new scenes and new sounds.  It doesn’t take an airplane and a holiday. Walking with the Lord in His Love through living His Word creates new each moments.

Love your neighbor as yourself, leads us to unforgettable newness.  Experiences, always new, become a way to know God.  Surely this cup of sadness cannot be for me.  Loving others, no matter who, is God’s Plan for us.  Love has no boundaries as to how and who to love.

It is in His Holy Spirit, we are led in this labyrinth of life. It sets our steps in love.  Even as we do not know a person’s thinking, we do not know God’s thinking, except through His Spirit.

In the midst of life, we often just want peace of mind and heart. We want to feel a joy unending. There is a way — Jesus told us, “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.  Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am.  I have told you these things before they happen so that when they do happen, you will believe.”

No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us. 1 Corinthians 2:11-12
