Psalm101-1Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:1-3Don’t hold back, let it go, sing!  Know that the Lord, He is God and gives gifts!  I opened the door in time to hear geese singing praise to God.  I wonder would happen if the birds hushed their songs of joy.  God created them to sing!  We, too are created to sing of God’s love and justice.Just knowing that God created us, that we are His people, gives just reason to Worship and Adore Him.  I just read this sentence in Sarah Young’s Jesus Calling – Do not recoil from afflictions, since they are among My most favored gifts.  Trust me and don’t be afraid,  for I am your Strength and Song.Making a new song ours to sing, takes practice and work. See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.  Isaiah 12:2A discordant note in our life’s song can interrupt the sound of love and trust.  We must test to make sure that the spirit-song we hear comes from God.  And this is the test — that the spirit-song acknowledges Jesus came in a real body.  This truth rings true in every spirit-song from the Lord.  Beware of false prophets who declare untruths.Whether the day dawns with clouds, winds blow with ferocity, troubles beset my day, I shall sing the song of truth, for I know that my Redeemer lives and is faithful to the end.  My spirit-song is sung with glory and joy. No clashes of harmony disrupt the beauty of the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ.Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God. But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here. I John 4:1-3
