June 16, 2017 – Psalm 31:19
How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear You. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. Psalm 31:19.
There is no end to the Goodness of God! How can we do anything else but love God and all He treasures? We are not able to see God, but He sent His Son, Jesus!
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through Him and for Him. He existed before anything else, and He holds all creation together. Colossians 1:15-17.
You hide us in the shelter of Your Presence and shelter us from evil. Is it any wonder that I praise you, Oh Lord God? Jimmy and Carol Owens’ words often come to mind….Tell me is it any wonder that I love Him When you consider all He’s done for me. And is it any wonder that I want to do His will And let His light shine out for all to see And is it any wonder that I praise Him?
This wonder leads to worship of the One and Only Lord God. Oh, how I love Him, because He first loved me. How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 36:7.
You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in your presence, far from accusing tongues. Psalm 31:20.
