June 8, 2017 – Jude 1:24
Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. Jude 1:24
All glory to God! What is glory? It is honor and praise. We often say, “Way to go!”, to someone we want to encourage and admire. Glory is more grand, deeper, and broader! Glory is knowing God IS and He is able to care for us not just now but always.
He is more powerful than we will ever know. His thoughts are not like our thoughts. He is powerful, He is able to change our hearts and bring us into His Presence. God is always with us when we need Him, if we say ‘Yes’ to Him.
How often in life, we say or think ‘no’. When things are not going well, what is the first thought we have? If we remember the One God and His Son, Jesus Christ with praise and say – Yes, Yes, Lord! He is with you. The words to a praise song touch me: I’m trading my sorrows, I’m trading my shame, I’m laying it down, For the Joy of the Lord. Yes Lord, yes Lord, yes Lord, yes, yes, Lord Amen!
How does this glory of His Presence come? Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Does it have an expiration date? No! It is before all time and beyond all time! When we say, Yes! Lord, to Jesus, we are ready for time of joy, faith, and most of all — the glory of His Presence. The final words of Jesus in Matthew 28, gives us a promise…and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
All glory to Him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are His before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen. Jude 1:25.
