Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes. Psalm 118:1, 8-9Give thanks to the Lord?  Yes!  He IS GOOD — All the Time!  God cannot be broken for He is the strongest Being Who is Love.  His love endures forever.  God has a longer attention span than forever.  How can anyone ever doubt God?The Lord’s right arm, His strong right arm is raised in victory everlasting, generation after generation.  His wisdom never wavers.  His goodness is a steadfast stream of righteousness.Lord God, may these words be emblazoned on my heart — Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!  His faithful love endures forever!  In these words are life and everlasting hope that brings trust and light.  In the darkness of this world and the anger that permeates our existence, we search for light and love.  We long to sing songs of joy and victory.  And it is ours in Jesus.   Believing, trusting, faithful living and we give thanks to the Lord!  We know He is good and His love endures forever.Lord God, take away any pride that threatens my happiness in You.  Help me to humbly come to You and begin to live in love and joy and peace.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.Songs of joy and victory are sung in the camp of the godly.
