Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. Romans 5:1-2How do you picture God’s glory?  No painting or words can depict the awesome glory of God!  I often think of the face of Moses, glowing so much he had to cover it.  For Moses saw God’s Glory.  I think of Enoch, who was moved from this earth to the glory of God without the transition of dying.  What changes did he see as soared into Heaven?  Can you imagine John, the writer of Revelation, seeing the glory of God?  Imagine finding the words to write. This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants the events that must soon take place. He sent an angel to present this revelation to his servant John,  who faithfully reported everything he saw. This is his report of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.  God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.  Revelation 1:1-3As we stand in this dark world, what does it take to know and revel in God’s Glory.  Two things — faith and Jesus Christ.  Sounds simple.  Simple until we realize that to have faith, we must believe that Jesus is.  Jesus is the Good News. The Good News is about his Son. In his earthly life he was born into King David’s family line,  and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.  Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority as apostles to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name. Romans 1:3-5Without believing and obedience, we lose our faith.  But our promise is God does the difficult part.  In all His glory He reaches down to keep us from falling away.  With great joy, He brings us into his glorious presence — without a fault.  You can know his presence this moment, believing in  your heart and mind this minute.  His presence within us draws others, not to us, but to Him.  We live through Him and know the truth.  All glory, majesty, power and authority are His before all time, in the present and all the tomorrows.  Glory be to God who loves us! Amen and Amen.

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time!
