April 19, 2017 – Psalm 36:5-6
Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike, O Lord. Psalm 36:5-6
This morning, my Hope and Joy soared again, as I found the morning moon high in the sky. His love, faithfulness, righteousness, and justice is compared to things I see with my eyes. This word picture is painted with the reality of our Lord.
A hymn sings in my heart, Why Should He Love Me So? There is no end to His gracious love. All around us we see the absence of caring, a desert of love among the creation of God. Help us see your Glory and love our Lord God and one another.
Our only shelter from worldly things is in the shadow of His wings. Our Lord God is our Jehovah Jireh, the Giver from the fountain of life. He allows us to feed from the abundance of his house, and drink from the river of delights.
Without You, O Lord, we are blinded to your glory all around us. How Great You Are! And we sing, “Glory, Glory, Hallelujah! To the Lamb, the Great I Am!”
How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from your river of delights. For you are the fountain of life, the light by which we see. Psalm 36:7-9
