April 14, 2017 – 2 John 1:2-3

Because the truth lives in us and will be with us forever. Grace, mercy, and peace, which come from God the Father and from Jesus Christ—the Son of the Father—will continue to be with us who live in truth and love. 2 John 1:2-3

Where can we find the truth that will live in us and be with us forever?  John 14:6 gives us the answer!  This is the answer of eternal impact, the love-gift from God our Father. Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

Grace, Mercy, and Peace comes only from God.  Are you listening to His Voice? Isaiah 30:21 tells us – Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.

In the 4th verse of 2 John, is embedded the truth of every parent who is faithful to God.  The joy and blessing is to find your our children living according to the TRUTH – faithful children, lead to another generation of faithful children.  When Grandparents pray for their Children and Grandchildren, an unbroken chain of their faithfulness is unbroken.

The greatest legacy you can give to your children is the eternal legacy of grace, peace, and mercy through Jesus Christ, the Truth!

How happy I was to meet some of your children and find them living according to the truth,  just as the Father commanded. 2 John 1:4
