April 7, 2017 – Psalm 47:1-2

Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!

For the Lord Most High is awesome. He is the great King of all the earth. Psalm 47:1-2

Come, Clap, Shout!  For the Lord most High is awesome!  He is the King of all the earth!  We are the servants of our Lord, for He created us.

Have you ever considered how much God loves us? We are his creation, and He placed us in on the earth He created. He knew we would need work to do, and He gave us work to do.  He knew some would choose not to return His Love.  So He sent Jesus to cleanse our hearts from sin through sacrifice.  Why? He is making a place for us after we leave this earth for Heaven, a place where there is no death, sorrow, pain or tears.  Or chaos, evil, or sin.

Sing, sing, sing praises to our King.  Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,  then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Philippians 2:1-2.

When we sing for joy in Christ, we have one step in Heaven.  Joy in Jesus Christ brings us trust, peace and hope, and new life.  There is no reason to fear death. Death becomes a doorway, not a dead end in Jesus Christ.

Our God reigns!  Glory, glory, Hallelujah, Praises to the great I Am,  Hosanna,  join with angels singing, Worthy is the Lamb of God.
