March 21, 2017 – Psalm 68:32-33
Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth. Sing praises to the Lord. Sing to the One who rides across the ancient heavens, his mighty voice thundering from the sky. Psalm 68:32-33
Sing! Sing! Sing! Break out in the praise of harmonious tones to the Lord! We lift our eyes to truly see His truth and love. There are many synonyms of SING, but only two antonyms — be quiet and conceal. We were created to sing praise! The discordant songs of anger, hate, and complaining have no place in our list of songs to sing.
No matter how creative man seems to be in creating glorious scenes of beauty around us. God created vistas of beauty in the sky and on earth for our wonder and delight!
Hymns and praises to God place us in a worshipful way singing praise to our glorious Lord. This is not a passing song favorite – but a forever joy. God’s strength and majesty surround us – not just for today but for always. For the Lord, your God is living among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” Zephaniah 3:17
His love is not a secret to hide. His love changes us in the way we live, speak, and see others. Our very heart is visible to others around us and tells others whom we follow. We may be the only Bible others read... The way we live brings others to Jesus Christ.
When we think we’re not strong enough to live for Jesus – remember these words – For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13. It is when we feel weak, Jesus walks beside us and gives us His strength, and forgives us when we falter! He gives us songs of joy! Sing!
Tell everyone about God’s power. His majesty shines down on Israel; his strength is mighty in the heavens. Psalm 68:34
