Colossians1-16bChrist is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.  Colossians 1:15-16The invisible God created everything visible and invisible.  There is nothing made that He has not made.  Man is under the assumption that he is in control of the thrones, kingdoms, rulers and authorities in the unseen world.  Yet God is the supreme Creator.God created us.  He makes us a new creature in Jesus Christ His Son.  Why?  So we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.  Seeing the world through God’s eyes gives us depth perception of His Greatness and our purpose in this life.  It puts our world in its proper perspective.  When we put on Christ, we wear the glasses of faith and love.  Our spiritual vision grows to be 20/20.  Our glasses become smudged by the world and we cannot see clearly.  Prayer and His Words provide clear vision again.  Along with praise, love and thanksgiving for God and others.Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:9-10
