March 1, 2017 – I Chronicles 16:8-9
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds. I Chronicles 16:8-9
These verses are an RX for our spiritual health and glorifying our Lord God. Give thanks, proclaim His greatness, tell what He has done, and sing His praises. Tell everyone about His Great Deeds.
This morning I thanked the Lord for the rain, that didn’t include destructive winds here. I used to wonder how to pray unceasingly. Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. It is called – walking with the Lord! We carry on a constant conversation, as a person does with a close friend.
We always can count on God. Hebrews 13:5 – Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” How often those we count on as friends, forsake and betray us. We can always count on God. Never, Never.
Have you ever wondered about the power of Jesus’ Name? We are told to exult in his holy name and rejoice as we continually seek Him. What a beautiful Name it is, The Name of Jesus Christ my King. You were the Word at the beginning, One with God the Lord Most High, Your hidden glory in creation, Now revealed in You, our Christ.
Search for the Lord and His strength – continually seek Him. Jesus is our treasure, our hope, our way, our truth, and He is ours through believing and trusting Him.
Exult in his holy name; rejoice, you who worship the Lord. Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him. I Chronicles 16: 10-11
