“Write this letter to the angel of the church in Thyatira. This is the message from the Son of God, whose eyes are like flames of fire, whose feet are like polished bronze:“I know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all these things. Revelation 2:18-19Can you imagine the imposing picture of the Son of God — eyes are like flames of fire — that see through you to the unsee-able, your soul.  No artist can create a picture of a man who knows all the things we do.  Not only does he know what we do, he knows our thinking and motivation and endurance.He sees Love, Faith, Service and our Patient Endurance.  We may hide those things from others, but Jesus knows.  There is no duplicity or mask needed to hide behind.Just as God knew that Adam and Eve sinned, because of the recognition of their nakedness, we stand naked before God.  What then are we to do?  Open the door of our lives and our hearts, and welcome Jesus in.  We will become friends.  If our endurance is successful — we will ‘sit with Jesus on his throne’!The phrase, ‘Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand‘.  What does it take to hear?  Love and trust.  It takes a lifetime to understand the riches of the message of love that God gives.  What is the story of our lives?  What is the loveliness of that which God has in store for us.  Are we humble enough to receive His Message of Love?“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.” Revelation 3:20-22
