Romans8-19aYet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. Romans 8:18-19There is bad news and good news.  The bad news is how we hurt and suffer in the now.  Yet, when we love Jesus, we have the grand hope that God is in control, and the news is good.  Very, very good — Gloriously good!  Even God-Created Creation awaits that good news and knows it is coming.  How can we ever doubt?Thanksgiving Day with its gratefulness Still covers our hearts with joy of being.  How much more should that Thanks-Giving extend and envelope the promises God has made to us of Eternal Life with Him.  We were created to worship Him and to wait.  Worship is a part of waiting, and waiting expectantly for His Coming. We hunger and thirst.  Our appetite can only be quenched and satisfied by the Words of our Lord.  The Bread of Life and the Living Water quenches that deep down hunger for the Lord who made us.  Jesus is coming.  And when He does, He will change us in a twinkling of an eye from mortal bodies prone to death into glorious bodies like his own.Dear Lord Jesus, Come quickly.  I believe and trust you.  I know Who You are, and I know I belong to you, even when my spirit grows weak.  We are citizens of Heaven where You live.  Take me home, help me to worship You and pray without ceasing.  May your Will prevail in my life, help my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren belong to You.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth. But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control. Philippians 3:19-21
