Sing a new song of praise to him; play skillfully on the harp, and sing with joy. For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does. He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth. Psalm 33:3-5These verses stir my mind with so many thoughts. The thought of the Lords unfailing love filling the earth makes me smile. That love is in every heart. There is no hate or anger or jealousy or any other ugly label. Just love. The word of the Lord holds true and a new song of praise fills the air.For every piano teacher the words, play with skill, means hours of practice. Skillfully. And singing with joy? Somehow, a song does that! Where there is love, there is joy and the joy cannot be expressed in any other way than singing. Our words from our mouths come from our thoughts. For as he thinketh within himself, so is he… Proverbs 23:7. To be pleasing to our Lord, what we think and say, what we meditate on is important to our Lord. Are our secret thoughts pleasing to our Lord? Are the words we utter pleasing to our Lord? Or are they base, without honor and derogatory to our Lord? And who is the Lord? Our Redeemer and our Rock. He cannot be moved, He does not change and he is the same yesterday today and tomorrow…the Alpha and Omega. Blessed be the Name of the Lord!Oh, Lord, May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you! For You are my forever rock and my forever redeemer. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.Psalm 19:14
