Ezekiel34-12As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness. Ezekiel 34:12One day I visited with an older lady who loved to paint.  She told me about shadows and light, and how the shadows seem to make the light become more bright.  How true her words were then and now.  She traveled to the God of Light, in the Land of Light, where there is no darkness at all.We have a Shepherd of Light, who guards and guides his sheep.  He gathers us from the crevices of darkness where we try to hide.  He gives us hope and joy and lights our way.  The faux light of the world blinds our eyes to the true light of our Savior.  With the true light comes the knowledge of the glory of God.  We see our Savior, our guiding light, each moment we read His Word, speak to Him in prayer, and sing His praises.Dear Lord of Light, Keep shining in my heart.  Don’t let the sin dim your greatness and goodness.  Forgive me when I try to diminish Your Light.  Please continue to be patient with me.  I love you!  In Jesus’ Name, AmenFor what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. II Corinthians 4:5-6
