He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust. Psalm 103:12-14How far is east? How far is west? Further than I can see. Further than I can know. My sin is cast away and cannot taint me. Why? Because God is my father. He knows I mean well, he knows I love Him. He created me to need Him.How can I let my pride and greed color my life with the crayon of darkness? How can I throw away the opportunity to be His because of stiff-neckedness?Instead, I will sing His praises to my dying breath. I will rejoice in the Lord, knowing without a doubt that He is my life, I live through and with Him. Knowing when I sin is the first step. Asking daily for forgiveness for the ‘me-ism’ of pride is the second.Father God, may my every thought and word simply relate my praise for You, my Abba. Purify my thoughts and let the purity become my song of rejoicing to You. Amen!I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will praise my God to my last breath! May all my thoughts be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord. Psalm 104:33-34
