March 17, 2016 – Isaiah 40:28

Isaiah40-28Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. Isaiah 40:28Life is a school room of learning from the day we are born.  So many things to learn…  One of the most difficult teachings is our world would not be, our life would not be without the Creator of all the earth. When we need to sleep and rest, yet our Lord God never gets tired.  He created the world in 6 days and then He rested.  Even resting on the seventh day is teaching us to rest in the Lord.  If you were to design and create a world, there would be questions in the planning.  What would the earth look like?  What would the people look like?  How would they live?  Would they breathe – and what?  Would they talk?  Are you tired of thinking yet?Now you have an idea of why we worship God, adore Him and delight in the Lord. No one can out-create or understand like God.  This is the first lesson about God.  Learning Who He is.A lifetime of lessons comes from learning to trust Him.  When we give Him our hearts, we learn to love Him and trust Him and accept what is, as His will.  Then we have peace and strength.  This gives us something even more — Hope!  Have you ever watched a large bird like an eagle fly, swooping and dipping in the sky?  You are right, God created the eagle! When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?  O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!  Psalm 8:3-4, 9…But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
