March 10, 2016 – 2 Chronicles 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Chronicles 5:7Have you ever been on a Trust Walk? It is when you walk with a blind fold on your eyes and someone guides you. As you walk through the house, you won’t bump into things that hurt you.You have to trust the Guide leads you past the furniture you might bump into. The way to choose your Guide is to know that He loves you ever so much.We have a Guide that we can choose, that we can’t see – Jesus. But He is always with you, with all who Choose Him. You are all around me—in front of me and behind me. I feel your hand on my shoulder. I am amazed at what you know; it is too much for me to understand. Your Spirit is everywhere I go. I cannot escape your presence. If I go up to heaven, you will be there. If I go down to the place of death, you will be there. If I go east where the sun rises or go to live in the west beyond the sea, even there you will take my hand and lead me. Your strong right hand will protect me. Psalm 139:5-10.We cannot hide from God! He sent His Son to teach us what trust is. He is our Shepherd, our Lord. My dear friend, don’t follow what is bad; follow what is good. Whoever does what is good is from God. But whoever does evil has never known God. 3 Peter 1:11.People who walk in the darkness don’t know where they are going. So put your trust in the light while you still have it. Then you will be children of light. John 12:35b-36a.If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Galatians 5:25
