As for me, I will always have hope, I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long—though I know not how to relate them all. Psalm 71:14-15Hope is the energizing force in life.  Hope gives us the will to go on.  Hope widens our horizons of what can be.  Hope is the sustenance of living.What gives us this hope?  For King David it was the realization and thankfulness of how God saved him day after today.  For me, it is the preciousness of the gift of sacrifice that Jesus gave me.  Because He died on the cross, each morning is a glory-day for me.  I know He loves me, and I praise Him more and more.What would life be if I ignored Jesus or down-graded His gift of love? What if I did not choose to be His completely?  Think of the comfort in this life I would not have.  Death, illness, troubles abound, because we live in a fallen, dark and sinful world.Because I choose Jesus Christ as my Savior, my comfort is constant in the darkest hours.  It is through those dark hours that Jesus holds, not just my hand, but also my heart.  Through suffering of any kind, I learn patient endurance rest in comfort.  Through Jesus and Jesus alone, I have salvation and the constant hope of eternal life.I share this hope, this comfort, with those about me.  Do you know my Jesus?  He loves YOU.  He died for YOU.  And I ask, with head bowed, how can it be that Jesus loves me so?  I raise my head and watch the clouds for His Coming.  When I keep my eyes on Jesus – hope abounds.  Living in expectation of His Coming gives me strength for each day.  I want to be ready.  Come go with me on this journey with Jesus.…who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 2 Corinthians 1:4-6
