Romans5-3bBecause of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. Romans 5:2-4To be sure, to be confident, to love with joy….as a child with a child-like faith brings living through turmoil and trouble a do-able and conceivable every day thing.  And rejoice.  Why?  Because of the cross – death of Jesus and His triumphant rising from the dead.  When problems and trials come, nothing compares with the horror Jesus endured for me and for you.  Because he endured and persevered, gives me strength and hope.  When my baby died at birth, when each of my parents died, whenever there is trouble, I know that I can be confident in choosing my Jesus above all.  There is hope in no one else.  I will let God be God and I love Him.Others may not understand how I can smile, in the face of the unease in the world and in my life.  So many changes.  It is Faith.  Confidence.  Joy.  Peace.  Love.   These are the jewels for living in a dark world.  The One who provides this to me is the Light of the World.  His Word is rich in Wisdom, Guidance, Comfort and Goodness.  The more I read, the more I hunger to know Him even more.  He will guide my steps and make me His in every sense of the word.  Jesus teaches me to love with Abandon.  And He is yours as well.  For His Love overflows; for He died for all of us.  He Lives on God’s Right Hand.“As surely as my new heavens and earth will remain, so will you always be my people, with a name that will never disappear,” says the Lord. “All humanity will come to worship me from week to week and from month to month.
