September 4, 2021 – Psalm 25:4-6

Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Remember your mercy, O Lord, and Your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Psalm 25:4-6.

As the darts of world fears try to ensnare me, these words ring true — the God of my Salvation and His mercy and steadfast love continue to guard me.  His faithfulness and strength are my pathway to humbly hunger and thirst for righteousness.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Lord, my rock and my redeemer.  Psalm 19:14. A thousand generations will pray this prayer as our parents and grandparents teach us of His great love, and those yet unborn teach their children.

The cry from the people is, what is Truth? A forest of lies encloses us.  Here is truth!  Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”  John 6:36.

Our Father, Hallowed be Thy Name… as we pray for wisdom and faithfulness to our Lord and King. Help us to discern the clarity of your Word and live for You only. Teach us how to love! I pray in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:2b-3.

Good and upright is the Lord; therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble His way. All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. Psalm 25:8-10.
